What is Brainbook?
Carlmont High School has been selected to be a part of the Dignity Health Concussion Network that offers Barrow Brainbook. Barrow Brainbook is a fun and interactive education based program to bring awareness to student athletes about concussions. From this program, students will learn to protect themselves while playing the sports that they love.
Step 1. Who gets to be a part of Brainbook?
Every Fall student athlete in Football, Cheer, Water Polo, Cross Country, and Girl’s Volleyball will have access to Brainbook. To register visit: https://barrowbrainbook.org/s/mQ7dYO
Once students are registered they will use this link to begin their Brainbook education: https://barrowbrainbook.org/login
After you have finished the course, you will receive a certificate of completion and then be eligible for baseline ImPACT testing.
Step 2. Complete Brainbook
You need to complete the Brainbook education by early August to be eligible for ImPACT baseline testing. For more information about ImPACT please visit: https://www.impacttest.com
Step 3. Turn in Certificate to Coach or Athletic Department
