Carlmont Highlights: Carlmont exploded for 14 runs in the first 2 innings to seal the deal. The highlight of the 1st inning was the towering Grand Slam round-tripper hit over the left field fence by catcher Daniel Friis. Ryan Busser, J. P. Avila and David Bedrosian all hit big doubles in the 2nd inning. Jack Vanoncini also doubled in the 5th inning. The combined shut-out included starter and winning pitcher Logan Snow who pitched the first 4 innings, scattering 3 hits with one walk and one K. Nick Rogers took over to start the 5th inning and, despite the score and by rule, earned his first Save for effectively pitching the final 3 innings.
