Carlmont boys varsity lacrosse improved its record to 2-0 with a 16-6 win over Woodside on Thursday night. The Scots were dominant on faceoffs with senior Ralphie Holmes taking the draws and teaming with sophomore Ryan Irwin securing possessions from the wing. Sophomore Trevor Douglis led the team with 10 points on the night, including 6 goals and 4 assists, while JJ Leavitt had 5 points on 3 goals and 2 assists. Senior Adrian Cunningham added 2 goals and 1 assist, while Holmes had 1 goal with 2 assists. Nathan Durrans had 2 goals, and Blake Stump scored a goal and had an assist, while also contributing on faceoff draws. Long stick defenseman Irwin also scored on a clear followed by a give and go to Douglis. Goalies Shuaib Khan and Jamisen Blackwell split time in the goal. The Scots play Sequoia on Tuesday at Carlmont at 7 pm.
