The Carlmont Scots came out on fire and dominated the first half against the Woodside Wildcats. Carlmont hit seven of their nine three-point field goals in the first half, which propelled the Scots to a 48-15 lead at the intermission.

Carlmont’s defense also created havoc as they held the Wildcats to only seven made field goals for the game. The Scots also forced 25 turnovers, many of which led to easy baskets.

Ashley Trierweiler had another stellar performance with 17 points, seven assists and seven deflections. Erica Mendiola added 10 points and Moi Tong-Woo chipped in with nine. Woodside Freshman Natalya Hotovec led the Wildcats with 15 of her teams 25 points.

With the win, Carlmont moves to 8-2 in the PAL and 18-4 overall. Woodside falls to 3-15 and 1-9 in league play.
