The Carlmont Scots dropped their fourth straight league game by a score of 45-38 against the Woodside Wildcats. Poor shooting doomed the Scots, as they converted just 10-51 field goal attempts for below 20% on the night. Although, Carlmont also shot 31 free throws, they made only 15.

Woodside led 26-15 at the half, but Carlmont rallied to cut the lead to two points in the fourth quarter. The Scots were never able to get over the hump, however, as Woodside held them off with a seven point victory.

Woodside was led by Natalya Hotovec, who scored 15 points, while Hailey Stewart added 11. Carlmont senior, Erica Mendiola led all scorers with 17 points.

The win improves Woodside’s record to 13-8 and 3-7 in the PAL. Carlmont falls to 14-8 and 4-6 in league play.
